Free online groups are a great feature of Fitbit and become social hubs where anyone with a Fitbit can motivate others from the same walking group, neighbourhood, or workplace. A specific group has been set-up for Men’s Health Week and is designed to see how many steps the ambassadors and supporters can complete from 12 – 18 June 2017. The Activity Group aim
The current metric being used around the world is the recommended 10,000 steps per day to help improve health and well-being. It would be great if you could aim for a minimum of 10,000 steps per day and we know from past experiences that being able to monitor your steps helps to increase the amount you are taking on a daily basis.
Syncing your Fitbit
Sync your Fitbit daily by 8pm every day during Men’s Health Week so that the number of steps are up to date.
Share your activity progress and any tips that have helped motivate you to be more active during Men’s Health Week from the Fitbit app with your followers using the hashtag #menshealthweeknz
Share the Men’s Health Week Fitbit Activity Group with your mates and encourage them to join and get active!
