About Us
What’s your score?
This year Men’s Health Week encourages guys all over the country to take the Accuro What’s Your Score? health survey. It’s right here on the site. Challenge your mates during Men’s Health Week to get proactive and compete for the best health score. Get a free Men’s Health Check at participating Unichem or Life Pharmacy. Bring in your completed survey so you can talk to your pharmacist about your results and get a free blood pressure check too! Your pharmacist can also make further recommendations to you on how to look after your health.

DAY FOUR: TIPS FROM THE MASTERS
Stretch and flex, warm up, get ready
-
-
- Before you start work each day, it’s smart to loosen the muscles you use most frequently on the job site before actually beginning any work that requires heavy lifting or strenuous activity.
- Lower back pain is the most common complaint among tradesmen and service workers, followed closely by shoulder, neck, knee and ankle injuries.
- Doing some low back stretches, incorporating aerobic exercise and strength training, will assist in decreasing pain and injury reoccurrence. Stretches can also increase the strength of supporting muscles to keep you working your best.
