Oscar Kightley joins the team for MHW

Playwright, actor and all round good guy Oscar Kightley has joined the MHW team as an ambassador in 2022.

Concern at the diabolical stats that surround the health of Pasifika people, Oscar is keen to help spread the word that we all have to get more involved with our health, to move more, maybe eat a bit less, and to live longer lives as a result.

The Pasifika population in New Zealand is the country’s youngest, with well less than 10% of Pasifika people in NZ being aged over 65.  The population also has the country’s highest rates of diabetes and the highest levels of obesity, both illnesses which can lead only to shortened lives.
